A Christmas village has been part of my annual decorations for as long as I can recall! My mom put them on top of my piano when I was a little girl, and when I got older and moved out, I received some pieces of my own (with a few from my childhood mixed in). 🤎

When I chose to renovate my living room this year, I knew I’d need to find the perfect new space to display my village, come Christmas-time. I love to travel. Okay, let me be honest here by saying I really haven’t done too much of it. I have the travel bug (like, really bad) but I’ve only been off the East Coast once in my whole life! The most traveling I ever did was when my husband I were still dating long-distance. I would fly from Virginia to Florida once a month to visit him, and I got really good at packing. I also learned which pieces in my closet made for the best traveling outfits.
If you’re flying, comfort is key. So is practicality. You also want to stay warm, make the walk through security as simple as possible, and still look cute. Sounds like a lot of work, right? Honestly, it’s not nearly as challenging as you might think. I did some deep-diving through American Eagle‘s website to round up FOUR essential travel outfits that you’ll be able to rock through the summer season and beyond!

Yes, girl! I LOVE this travel outfit inspo! I’m going a couple more places this summer and looking good while being pretty comfy is important to me. I love the skirt look the most! Maybe because it’s monochrome and I love neutrals haha. Either way, big fan!

The muted monochrome is totally my go-to when I travel. And it needs to be comfortable, because… I don’t want to sit in a car or on an airplane for a while in something that isn’t comfy! 🙂
