There are so many new book releases in May 2023, that I had to expand this list of titles from 30 to 36!
Yeah, you read that right. There are 36 new books to check out in this blog post. In fact, there could’ve been somewhere between 39-42, but I did decide to narrow things down just a little bit. It seems like May is the month for new releases! And while I anticipated a great deal more contemporary romances than any other genre, I was pleasantly surprised to find that nearly half of these are fantasy or science fiction. There’s something for everyone here!
I had a bunch of these on my StoryGraph TBR (and already read an ARC of Bleeding Heart), but I wound up adding almost all of the titles that weren’t already accounted for. The new book releases in May 2023 seem to be some of the best of the entire year! So many debuts, sequels, and highly-anticipated titles to check out!
