The line-up of new book releases in April 2026 is phenomenal. My reading list just got a whole lot longer, and I have a feeling yours will too.
I’m nearly positive I say this every time I share my new releases blog post, but one of my favorite things about creating these particular articles is getting the chance to discover (and re-discover) upcoming titles that I absolutely have to read. It’s so much fun to see which books are getting ready to make their way into the world. I also love finding out if there are certain genres or themes that take the spotlight for the month.
In April, I noticed there will be a lot of cozy fantasy releases (which is especially exciting for this cozy girl). It also seems like there will be a handful of really unique thrillers and mysteries—both YA and adult. Honestly, I found myself looking forward to a significant number of these titles. I added so many to my TBR on StoryGraph, and I have a feeling that once you read through this list, you will too!
