An Honest Review of Curtarra Custom Curtains

A recent cozy addition to my home are my Curtarra custom curtains and let me tell you, they instantly brought a level of comfort to my bedroom that I’ve never had in there before!

When I began to redecorate my primary bedroom, I knew I wanted to finally add curtains. Truthfully, curtains weren’t a priority when I moved into this house, but after a couple of years of living here, I knew I wanted to change that. My initial concern was that in a small space, they would make the room feel even smaller. However, after doing a lot of research, I concluded that the right kind of curtains could actually expand a space. After discovering Curtarra during my curtain research journey, I knew I had found the perfect company to include in my elevated room.

I was thrilled when Curtarra expressed interest in partnering with me on this project. They were kind enough to send me four custom curtain panels for my primary bedroom and before everything was even fully installed, I could tell these would make a massive difference in the space. The curtains certainly provided coziness that wasn’t there to begin with! I’m very excited to be sharing my review of these custom curtains and my shopping experience with Curtarra.

There’s nothing better than the feeling of your house becoming a home, and these Curtarra custom curtains were another step in making that happen.

When shopping with Curtarra for your custom curtains, there are a few things to keep in mind.

• Along with their wide array of color options (which change from style to style), you can also choose from 4 different headers and just as many liners, and you can input your exact curtain panel width and height so that they fit your room perfectly. Some of the curtains also come with tie-backs, which is super handy. I love that these allow me to keep my room well-lit throughout the day!
• The panels are sold individually and they do not come with rods or curtain rings. I made the mistake of not reading this part and upon opening my box, was very confused about how I was supposed to hang the curtains. I had purchased curtain rods but didn’t know how the pleated curtains hung. They look great with rings!
• Curtarra offers free swatches for their different curtain textures and colors, so you can know how things work in your space before you make a purchase. They also provide a very handy measurement tool, so you’re certain about how the curtains will fit in your room.
• These curtains are quite heavy, so make sure you hang very sturdy curtain rods (you can purchase these from their website) and secure them into your wall. I did not do a good job at this and my curtains fell. This was my own mistake. The quality of the curtains is superb, but I wasn’t aware that they would be weighty, so I needed to make sure I installed them properly!

After placing my order, the curtains arrived very quickly, in great packaging with very helpful instructions. The moment they were up, my room felt a million times more cozy and it certainly didn’t appear any smaller. If anything, the space opened up. I would absolutely add Curtarra custom curtains to other rooms in my home!
