Seeing Stars In 2018

Happy New Year, everyone. Here’s to 2018!

“There’s glitter on the floor after the party …”

Some would describe 2017 as a scooter kick to the ankles. I can’t say I entirely disagree. The year was filled with some of the most challenging moments of my adult life. However, it also gave me some of the happiest memories I’ve ever made – including getting engaged to my best friend and scoring the biggest partnership of my career! While I’m somewhat melancholy about seeing 2017 come to an end, I honestly can’t believe how quickly the year went by, and I’m ready for 2018 and the fresh start that it will bring.

I know that it was quite intriguing going through my photos and seeing all the differences – even down to the simplest thing like my hair length and color (I started the year with barely shoulder-length locks and nearly always wore extensions for more length)! I got to travel some, try new foods, and discover some new favorite brands.

I don’t like making resolutions. In the end, they merely frustrate me rather than spur me on. However, I like to make daily goals for myself and will continue to do so in the coming year. I’d also like to make some new goals for my blog – including bringing more travel and relationship aspects (I already have some exciting things on my calendar in the next couple of months)! I can say for a fact that 2018 is going to be fantastic, and that positivity is going to launch me into this new year with some serious confidence and creative juices. Here’s to an amazing page-turner of a year. Chapter one, page one – let’s begin.
