A Christmas village has been part of my annual decorations for as long as I can recall! My mom put them on top of my piano when I was a little girl, and when I got older and moved out, I received some pieces of my own (with a few from my childhood mixed in). 🤎

When I chose to renovate my living room this year, I knew I’d need to find the perfect new space to display my village, come Christmas-time. This gorgeous @sauderusa cubby shelf felt like it was *made* to show off all my favorite pieces! 😍 It has been so much fun to find new ways to #SauderStyle these shelves over the last few months! 🙌🏼

Is it just me, or are the new book releases in August 2023 just absolutely mind-blowing? I’m so excited about this list it’s unreal!
Okay, I know there have been a few other months this year that I’ve found absolutely spectacular, but so far, August’s new releases take the cake. Forget the fact that I already had a slew of these on my TBR (or I’ve already read ARCs for them, or preordered them, etc.) but now, every single one of these has made it on my list. That’s gotta be a record! I seriously can’t wait to dive into so many of these incredible books.
I’ve included everything from mysteries and thrillers to high fantasy to adorable romcoms, so you’re sure to find a book (or, ya know, thirty) to pick up out of these new book releases in August 2023!

I completely agree that August is stacked with some great new releases! I didn’t realize KISSING KOSHER is an August release–that’s one I’ve been lowkey keeping on my radar. It sounds cute and I’m trying to incorporate more Jewish authors into my reading.
