There are so many must-read new book releases in April 2023. I’ve done the work for you and created a list of 30 titles you’ll want to pick up ASAP!
I have to admit that April’s new releases excite me just a little more than every other month this year so far. Why, you might ask? Because it includes one of my most-anticipated books of 2023: Happy Place by Emily Henry! Not only that, but it has Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez, which I’ve already had the privilege of reading (and, spoiler alert, loving like crazy), so I can’t wait for others to get their hands on it! April really is a winning month for new book releases.
In addition to these fabulous romances by some of my favorite authors, there are a plethora of other fantastic novels that you’ll definitely want to add to your reading list or buy right away! I have several of these books and many more on my TBR! Lots of great books coming out in April.
I still need to read Serpent and the Wings of Night but I just know it’s going to be a favorite & I can’t wait to read the second in the series as well! I am also looking forward to reading Happy Place this summer.

There’s a lot in this list (fantasy-wise) that I didn’t even come across while compiling my own anticipated book releases list. I’m not going to go back and edit it now because it took a while already, but now I know to keep an eye out for them. Specifically The Last Heir to Blackwood Library, A Dreadful Splendor, and Wings Once Cursed & Bound.
Great list! Several of these are on my TBR. I recently read The Last Heir to Blackwood Library and Silver in the Bone and both were fun reads! Hope you enjoy all these titles!
