My July 2023 reading stats were lower than usual, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a great month!
How much I’ve managed to read each month this year has surprised me a lot. I’ve averaged around 20-25 books every 30 days, which kind of blows my mind! July was on the quieter side, with “only” 18 books (in comparison). However, I found several new favorites and I also took my time savoring and really appreciating one book in particular (looking at you, The Fragile Threads of Power)! I’m so glad that I chose to buddy-read that much-anticipated upcoming release because it made a huge difference in how I read and enjoyed it!
I did choose to DNF two of the books on my original TBR for the month (A Sweet Spot for Love and Planes, Trains, and All the Feels), but I added a few titles that weren’t planned to even it all out (Lore Olympus Vol. 4, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, The Off Limits Rule, Death on Windmill Way, and In the Case of Heartbreak). I’ve planned a much smaller TBR for August because I will be traveling and going through some major life changes, so I want to take as much pressure off myself as possible. But I can’t wait to see what I read and how it all compares to my July 2023 reading stats!
