I put 15 books on my TBR this past month – but was that all I read in February 2022?
After a phenomenal reading month to kick off the year (20 books in January), I thought it was about time that I raise my monthly goal from 10 to 15. Apparently, I thought it would be fun to go full overachiever for the shortest month of the year. I pretty much slapped myself silly when I realized the mistake I had made. However, that didn’t keep me from being determined to reach that goal. I decided not to push myself to read the chunkiest, slowest book on my original list, and instead, I picked up a novella and a few mangas to fill in the gaps as needed, allowing me to read 18 books total by the end of February.
It might sound crazy to you – reading over 15 books in a month – but for me, it’s so much fun. This month was awesome, not because of the number of books I read, but because I discovered several new favorites! The stand-outs in February were Wind Daughter (my most-anticipated read of the year), The Kindred (I had high hopes but wound up loving it more than I thought I would), and Crave (for which I had zero expectations and it wound up totally captivating me – and sent me into a wild book hangover)! Check out my thoughts on the rest of the titles I picked up during my birthday month.

Congratulations on reading these 15 books. There are some books on this list that capture my attention. Thank you for sharing.
18 books sounds like such a huge milestone for February! But a slong as you enjoyed the challenge, nothing worn about that. Quite the contrary! Which one was your favourite?
I mentioned the three that were my favorite in the first couple of paragraphs in the post
We’ve heard good things about The Ex-Talk!
I hope you enjoy it more than I did
What a great month Stephanie! I loved The Ex-Talk and the author’s more recent book The Weather Girl. Have a great March!
It is amazing that you read 18 books last month. I wish I could read that many, Some of these books sound amazing like The Wrong Suitcase and The Opposite of Butterfly Hunting. Thank you for sharing.
Wow! That’s so many book. I finished maybe 2 haha. Some of these sound so interesting, and the covers of some of them are just stunning.
Wow! I’m always amazed when people can read so many books. That’s quite an amazing selection you’ve read through. I’ll have to explore some of these eye catching titles. In February I started reading Educated by Tara Westover. It’s a pretty fascinating read so far
I’m always astonished how much you read! You should write a post about how you fit it all in!
