I’m the curator of this cozy bookish blog, The Espresso Edition. My goal is to create a safe space for readers to discover new, diverse, and underrated books.

I’m pretty sure I came out of the womb with a book in my hand and you haven’t been able to find me without one since. My love of fantasy novels stemmed from reading The Chronicles of Narnia with my family when I was six years old (and I still have that box set, though the worn spines and torn pages are certainly showing how old loved it is now).

I’m also an avid romance reader, though if you’re looking for the spiciest recommendations, you won’t find them here. Cartoon cover (or “fluffy” as my mom lovingly refers to it) romance is my first pick.

I have been blogging full-time since 2015, shortly after being diagnosed with a chronic illness (gastroparesis) that left me looking for a job to do from bed. What started as She Saw Style, a fashion website, slowly morphed into cozy lifestyle, before I rebranded entirely to The Espresso Edition bookish blog in 2021. Books just feel like home.

My hope is that whether you’re new to books or you’ve been a reader your whole life, this will be a place you feel comfortable coming for everything from book suggestions, to reading tips, to reviews, and so much more.
