My July 2024 reading list might have been on the shorter side (for me), but I thoroughly enjoyed the selections. I branched out more than usual and found some new favorites.
I was really pleased that I completed my entire TBR list for July 2024, since the several months prior had more DNFs or incomplete reads. This month was a bit of a reading adventure as I explored genres I don’t usually dive into, including non-fiction, thrillers, and even historical fiction (though to be fair, this one had magic in it too). To top it off, I also got the chance to spontaneously read an ARC of an anticipated upcoming release (The Lovers)–and I adored it!
Looking ahead to August, I’m hoping to make progress on more of my 2024 priority TBR list. There are so many great books still waiting to be read, and I’m eager to dive into them. I’ve also already begun my reading month with some highly anticipated new releases. It’s shaping up to be a wonderful month of reading! Keep scrolling to see my full recap of my July 2024 reading list, as well as the books on my August TBR.

Glad to see that you enjoyed My Lady Jane, I love that book! They recently made a TV adaptation as well 🥰 I’m currently reading The Wren in the Holly Library and unfortunately I’m not impressed 😅
I completely loved Yellowface, I rated it similarly to you! I think this is a book that most people would enjoy, mainly because of the way RF Kuang wrote it. Glad to see you had a pretty good reading month! xx
