The second month of the year always seems to fly by and from what I can tell by my February 2024 reading recap, this month was no exception.
The amount I read this month was less than I’ve read in a very long time, but I’m not even the slightest bit bothered by it. Do you want to know why? One of my goals for 2024 was to read less. That might sound strange to some, but I knew I wanted to focus on reading more of what I was really excited about, rather than just pushing for as many novels as I could each month. Aside from just a couple of overly-hyped books (which normally don’t go as well for me), all of my reads were great this month!
I didn’t complete my entire February TBR list, since I wasn’t able to finish The Vanishing Throne or read all of Thick With Trouble before the month ended, but I did listen to two additional audiobooks that were unplanned and really liked them both! My one five-star book was a reread and I’m not at all surprised by that. It was wonderful revisiting Bring Me Your Midnight, which was one of my very favorite books from last year. I look forward to seeing what March has in store for me!
