Here it is, you guys: part two of this phenomenal sweater I styled and captured with the help of the fabulous Sarah of Sarah Schultz-Taylor Photography (check out part one here). I have been wearing this piece on repeat since purchasing it, and I can say, without a doubt, that it’s a crowd favorite. Each time I slip it on and walk outside, I receive compliments – no matter where I go. There’s something alluring about the brightness of this sweater, and no matter what anyone tells you, pink is an exceptional color. I used to hate it. I even refused to wear it, but when someone around me was donning it, I couldn’t help but be drawn to them. There’s just something special – something wonderfully feminine – about the color.
Now that I’ve discovered my actual adoration for the color pink, I chose to create an entire outfit using different shades of it. Along with my sweater (only $25, ya’ll – and available in gray too if you’re not a fan of pink), I chose this blush corduroy mini that I purchased at Forever 21 back in the spring. This exact style is no longer available, but I linked two similar options below! These bubblegum pink heels are such a fun addition to any outfit, and when I realized that my two clothing pieces were shades of pink, I knew I had to add these pumps to the mix. My earrings are a dupe for the Sugarfix by BaubleBar earrings found at Target, but they’re a little bit larger, and available with Prime shipping since they’re an Amazon find (they’re available in 26 other colors, as well)!
I could easily dress this look down with a drape-y cardigan and a pair of sneakers, but there’s something so sophisticated about dressing up in pink. It’s like I feel a thousand times more confident and those #GIRLBOSS vibes just course through my veins when I’m decked out in head-to-toe pink. Don’t get me wrong, I feel that exact same way wearing all black, but pink invites people in, and being a blogger, I’m always looking for new ways to make friends and network – and an all-pink statement outfit can certainly create that environment around me! Would you rock this #pinkstagram-ready look?
