April Fools day is past, Easter is on its way, and Friday Five Vol. 7 is here!
I’ve been really enjoying writing these weekly wrap-up posts lately, but the most important question is do you enjoy reading them? I love to hear feedback from my readers (yes, positive and negative). Tell me in the comments if you like this style of post, or if you’re looking for something else from me. Don’t worry, it won’t hurt my feelings. 😉

Friday Five Vol. 7
Blog Posts That Caught My Eye //
My dear friend, Grace, opened up about life, work, and what’s been on her mind, and it brought me to tears. I’m grateful for real, vulnerable, honest posts like this.
I was only recently introduced to Amanda’s blog, but I’ve completely fallen in love with not only her cute style, but her depth. She just posted this article about the lack of diversity in the blogger world. Talk about a reality check!
Spring is definitely on my mind, and this post by Anna has me itching to update my entire wardrobe with practical, cute items!
It’s no secret that I love to read, and Emily always has the best book review posts! She rounded up some of her March favorites in this article.
Spring Wishlist (Expanded) //
Tortoise shell (or resin)-style earrings are all the rage right now, and I’m 100% on board. This pair caught my eye the other day!
Eyelet everything, please and thanks! This dress is just too gorgeous for words. Wouldn’t it be perfect for Easter?
Every time I pass by this blouse in-store, I want to get it for myself. The second I have some spare cash, you can rest assured it will be mine!
How funny that I mentioned last week how I love white sneakers, but wanted a blush pair instead. Why’s that funny? Because just a couple of days later, I stepped into a giant mud puddle and ruined my favorite pair of white sneakers. MEH. So needless to say, I’d love to replace them with this pair.
New At – and In – Home //
Now that Brandon and I have mostly finished decorating our living room, we’re moving on to our bedroom. We originally had a color schemed in mind, but tossed it out the window the moment we saw this rug. Guess we’re going to be taking the blues and greens throughout the house, and I’m not mad about it!
I’ve owned an Instax camera for a couple of years now, but didn’t put it to good use until this year. Now I’ve been making sure to document every fun experience, especially at home or on dates with my husband!
Last April, I developed my own preset after testing a handful of different color schemes and styles. After almost exactly a year, I’ve created a new one that I’ve been trying on my Instagram feed. I love how it looks. Do you?
Books I’m Reading (& Wanting to Read) //
Why, oh why, do I always think I can read multiple books at once? I’m currently reading three! I don’t have time to breathe most days, but I think I can finished three books? HAH. Needless to say, the one that has me the most enthralled right now is this one.
I’m also hoping to complete this book at some point, but it’s taking me longer than expected to read (since, ya know, I’m trying to read two others simultaneously).
This book was a birthday gift, after my friend saw it on my “to-read” list at the beginning of the year. Thankfully, since I now own it (and I’m not borrowing it from the library like the other two), I can take my time with it, which I enjoy.
Once I finish these three, I’ll be reaching for the next on my wishlist, which is this one! It’s the sequel to a book I finally read last month. I’m super excited to get my hands on it.
Exciting Opportunities //
The beginning of this month brought about my biggest partnership yet! I was thrilled to work with Tyson Tastemakers and share their delicious ready-to-make meals. I know this was a paid gig, but I gotta tell you guys, these dishes are amazing. Seriously, so good. If you wanna find out where to get them, just click here. My favorite so far was the Korean BBQ-style chicken.
Of course, you all know about my trip to The Blackburn Inn. Well, since that trip, I’ve had several more travel opportunities open up. I don’t want to share any of them quite yet, since I want to finalize all the details. But get ready to witness She Saw TRAVEL a little more often! 😉
A couple days ago, I received an email from Fohr, alerting me that I was the top influencer for Poshmark in March! I know I had been talking about the company a lot (and selling a TON of my clothing), but it was super awesome to get that recognition.

I’ve been wanting to read Uninvited for quite some time. Do you plan on reviewing it once you’re done? When do you usually read? I feel you about wanting to read more than I have time for.

I don’t typically write up book reviews, but should I start? I sure do read enough to put something like that together! I usually read at night before bed, or first thing in the morning. It’s a great way to wind down at night, and a calm start to my day in the AM!

This is such a fun post!! I need to use my Instax camera more!

Every time I read your Friday Five I discover something new. Either a book or place to go, or some new decor or accessory, it’s always full of great inspiration. Thanks Stephanie!

I love a good cup of iced coffee and the crossiants/muffins looks so good. I like how you linked other blogs
Indya | The Small Adventurer says
Wow, I admire you for just attempting to read three books at once! I usually have two going at once; a really long one that I read sporadically but it’s as gripping as a shorter novel, and then whatever book I am currently hooked on – which is often a YA, classic, or psychological thriller.
