*Currently wearing this sweatshirt as I type! It might be a brand new week, but on She Saw Style it’s another day, another outfit with blush pink as the primary color 😂 You guys, I just can’t stop, won’t stop when it comes to this shade. Whenever someone new walks into my cloffice, they always ask, “Do you always have pink on your wardrobe rack?” And of course, I answer with, “Well DUH! It’s my most-worn color!” But really, it’s quite likely I’ll never have another color on that rack because blush makes up a great deal of my closet. I was so excited when Megan, the owner of She Is Boutique sent me this adorable blush terry sweatshirt! It was like she knew this was my favorite color to wear.
I’ll admit, when I first pulled it out of the package, I wasn’t too sure. Cold shoulder on one side and distressing at the elbow on the other sleeve. However, after pairing it with my badass black, distressed denim, I knew it would end up becoming a quick, comfortable favorite! And comfortable is right! This sweatshirt is slightly oversized, making it extra cozy, and the terry interior is so soft and perfect for autumn. It’s warm, but doesn’t make me sweat, and it can easily be dressed up or down.
I’d like to label my autumn style as “girly urban.” It’s a little bit of girly boutique-wear, with a side of street fashion. Since I tend to find unique ways to wear certain items, I took this sweatshirt as a challenge – find a way to dress it up and make it acceptable for “going out.” I accomplished this with some killer pink pumps (the first pair of pointed-toe heels to ever be comfortable and well-fitting) and sparkly accessories. My extra-large hoop earrings worn in conjunction with my layered choker gave the perfect amount of glittering shine to an otherwise casual look. Easily dress this distressed ensemble way down with some sneakers and a messy ponytail – I’m rocking this sweatshirt with yoga pants right now!
Oh, don’t forget, once the temperatures get cooler, you can wear this distressed pairing in a warmer fashion by layering tights beneath the denim and a moto or bomber jacket over the sweatshirt. Another versatile, adorable, and affordable (this sweatshirt is only $32 right now) item added to my wardrobe – check! How would you wear these deeply distressed pieces?
